:confused:
I tried do start my 04 RidgeBack and no Spark, and no light s on the Thunder heart. Got all lights on bike working fine head light, tail lights, horn, etc. lights on ECH are fine Yellow with ignition on, red when run button is hit, everything works as suppose to except the thunder heart and no spark. tried charging the battery and junpstarting, but nothing just cranks over, i washed about a week ago and havent started sence but dried eveything and blew everthing out with compressor. Need some help
Maybe a new thunder heart??????:bang::confused:

Use a volt meter and check to see if you have 12V (battery voltage) from red wire to battery ground with key on and run pressed and released. If you do, check to make sure you have 12V in the same condition across red and black wires going to ignition module. If you have power and grounds then check your cam plate and make sure you have voltage at the red and black wires when run has been pressed.

Post back results and we will go from there.

Hey Danny, I have an 04 Chopper that did the same thing. Mine was a bad cam sensor located behind the point cover. You could see a crack in the epoxy. The way I unserstand it is thats what tells the Thunder heart when to put out voltage to the coils.

The red light on the thunder heart only comes on when it receives a signal from the cam sensor. (flashes every time receives it) No signal it wont flash. Part was only $50.00 and was easy to put in. Mark the plate location to the housing b4 you pull it out as that is what sets the timing. You will want to put the new one in the exact place. Not a mechanic just sharing what I found on mine.

I dont see the black button by the back finder just ehc, thunder heart, battery, and wires going into the rear finder. I dont think i have that relay.

How can i test it to make sure that its the cam sensor??? Ya i dont think i want to mess up the timming bike ran great before this.

Follow Night Train's advice. If you have power going to the ignition module and accross the ground to the black wire, then ignition module bad.

I'm not sure of the test procedure.
I saw the crack in the epoxy and took a chance that it was bad.

Put the new one in and it fired right up. Like I said though I'm not a mechanic.

Night train sounds like he has alot more experience in this stuff.

:)I got It running thanks for the help everyone. I dont know what it was but its workin now. I checked 12v from battery, hit run switch and had 12v to the thunder heart and comming out of it, traced the thunder heart wire to cam sensor? i think, took the two scews out and checked it, but it was sealed and the wires where covered also???, so traced it back and diconected it where it was zipped tied to the frame and tested it there had 12v, unpluged the computer and pluged it back in, tried to start it and it lit right up and started it. Back on the road thanks!!!!:):):)

:down:I guess i jumped the gun!.Wont strart again today. Rode for about an hour yesterday after i got it working, put it away and was going for another ride today and samething nothing. Im thinking cam sensor. I seen a little bit of oil where the wire goes up into the the cover plate. , is there any way to test the cam sensor without cutting the sheild or wire cover behind the inspection plate. It dosent have any exposed area on the cam sensor its all epoxy.
