Hey guys, working on a 2007 mutt first it was dying after short trips, believe that part is fixed, time will tell...... Now it is time to deal with no speedo and apparently no headlight either(though i could have sworn it was working before..) high low indicator work, but no headlight either way. tach works.(though im not sure its right, doesn't seem to be very sensitive.)
I'm just guessing from looking at pictures it has the gen2 rip kit, are there any other modules that look like it? module and adapter harness was put on at a shop, bike quit less than 10 miles after.... i don't have a way to find out where it was from....
i understand some of the rip kits had problems with pins in the wrong spot? was this on the module or on the harness?
I figured i would start with checking to make sure the wires are right. anybody have a pinout for one of these? any help appreciated, many thanks Geerhedd
