NO CALIBRATION

My speedo just flashes 3 different things and my calibration button does nothing. Is it safe to say my speedo is shot?

Id like to have some opionions before i drop some dough on a new one.

On your bike the speedo flashes miles, hours on the motor, and the calibration number. That is all normal. From your other post you either have a weak battery or bad connections

Its acutally flashing....ADJUST,AUTOCL,and PULSE. In that order when u turn on the key or start the bike.Ive straight wired the hot and grnd to a batt and it does the same thing. im stumped! The letter "t" in the flashes actually looks like a capital "E" with the op part of the E missing. I assume its suppose to be a t.

ive heard that on some of the older ones like mine some HD parts will work. I wonder what year HD speedo may work

Does anyone know for sure if ur speed sensor is bad will that make the calibration button do nuthing?Ive herd of bench testing and when u release button on a given setting it should stop blinking from what i understand.
