NEWLY INSTALLED WIRES-PLUS MODULES

BDM OWNERS..FYI...I JUST INSTALLED A WIRES PLUS MODULE IN MY 04 CHOPPER....BIKE RUNS FINE....ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN I HIT THE START BUTTON, THE BIKE DOES NOT KICK OVER...I HAVE TO TOGGLE THE OFF/RUN BUTTON AND THEN HIT THE START BUTTON.

I HAVE TWO(2) EHC MODULES THAT I NEED TO HAVE TESTED....ANYONE KNOW WHERE THIS CAN BE DONE?

Don't hit the run button when you first cycle the key, just flip the key and and hit the start button. Think of the run/stop button as only a stop button basically.

Was it very difficult to do that switch over? Did you change your ignition module?

I just installed the WP last week. I just turn the key on and press start, interesting you have to hit the switch first, i'd PM Jake. As for the other question for the switch, I did not change my ignition module, and are you asking if the "switch over" to the WP was difficult or are you referring to changing out the new switch?

I guess I can answer both with a NO now that I think about it, it was not hard to do either, you can do it!

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm sure I can do it too. I was just wondering if the whole swap out of the EHC to the wireplus was difficult. I also want to swap out my ignition module too. I'm not sure which ignition module will work the best?

How did you know the EHC was shot. I think mine is acting up on my 2004??

All---I emailed Jake and now just turn the key and press start....works fine....the install was not too bad....hardest part was making it look stock and also placing the two wires=plus modules.....I love the fact that I am not beholden to that EHC module...thanks, Dogasm
