Run into another snag. I ordered a new teardrop cleaner and I assume I ordered the wrong one. The ears that fit over the breather bolts do not line up. Problem is, I’ve already modded this one for external breathers and added plugs so returning is not an option. Any harm in removing the ears and not bolting to breather bolts? It had a cheap Kuryakyn before that was self supporting and much heavier than this one.
