New to BD, 04 Mastiff 2 GCaps, do you fill both sides from Right Gas Cap?

I have been cleaning my 2004 Mastiff since I got it last week. It has two gas caps one on each side of the tank. I can get the right one off with a lot of effort, the left cap metal top screws off but the core remains in the tank opening. Is that normal, and do you only fuel the whole tank from the right side? So yes! You fill both sides but the left tank filler cap threads are reverse threads. So, Righty is loosey and Lefty is tighty.

Thanks, I get it to turn right but it won't come out of the tank. Sounds like the Bike which has very low mileage sat for long periods may need new caps and an expert to remove and replace them as I can't fill both tanks easily from only the right side.

lay down blue painters tape on the tank around the neck and use a rubber strap wrench. should work. ethanol tends to make the plastic threads swell.
