New Tires

Don't know if you can tell from the photo, but I needed a tire. :up:

Got the tires at motoxoutlet.com. They are an Avon dealer. Cost was $225 for a 300 rear and $122 for the front. Great deal! Date codes are good - rear was 18 months old and front was 4 months old.

good price and good date, BUT, keep a close eye out for splits across the tire at the joint splice. as little as a couple hundred miles. ain't trying to scare, just making you aware.

Did some research. The problem was fixed in 2010. Problem was with the mold when it separated during the process and leaving a mark. I will certainly watch, but am willing to bet it's been resolved.

Mostly ride two lane twisties. All our roads are extremely crowned.

Good luck with that AVON, keep an eye on it. I went through 4 and had the joint splice issue.
