I dont know how it could get any cheaper than that. I have no clue Mike never heard of this one before.

I recently got a set of new avons. I did come across these when I was doing some research. I can't imagine them lasting very long, but for $89, who cares? The only other thing that might be an issue is they are 310. If they are a true 310, there may be some belt rubbing issues. I've heard a few guys say they had to shave the side of the 300 metzlers cause they are slightly wider than 300. I'm not a big fan of the tread design, but it would make a great burnout tire if it fits.

SKOGDOG

One of the old ones.
Looks like they claim 1200 lbs load at 149 mph…mleach has a point here…you’ll need a shoehorn to get that past your drive belt!! The right side of this tire might look shiny and you might smell hot rubber for a few miles…haha
I tried a Shinko last time and recently went to Avon Cobra Chrome.
If you decide to pull the trigger on this one, please let us know how it works out.

Interestingly enough a little google search has reviews on other motorcycle forums going back to 2011. Mixed reviews but their website is no longer available and I can't find any website for them. Just makes you wonder. If I change a 300 I want to make sure I am not changing another one for 8-10k miles. Even f you get 4000-5000 miles your check book says it would be worth it as far as the numbers go, but you got to put a value on dealing with it again in 1/2 the time.

Well I bite the bullet and ordered one today. Right now to keep me on the road it's worth it even if I only get 5K out of the tire.

Suppose to arrive next week, so I'll be off the bike till then.

I was working on the bike yesterday and noticed a crack in the sidewall on the right side that was at good 12" long (one continuous crack) and the tire was due anyway but given that combo, I'm not pushing my luck.

Will keep everyone posted how this works out,
