New starter and battey upgrade!!! Need some INFO

Looking to upgrade my starter and battery.....might as well, since the rest of my scooter is torn 2 pieces in my shop....doing other serious upgrades.............I NEED MY FELLOW Big Dog Bro"s input.... are Ultima Starters any good??? I see they make a MONSTER 2.4 KW starter!!!!! That sucker should spin over a small block chevy........ I was thinking of getting one of those and a HUGE ASS Braille battery....they make a battery with 800 CCA that will drop in my dog...... I hate starter issue"s.....I figure that combo would totally kick ass......Anyone got any input on this issue? Thanks for everyone"s help lately,everyone been hella nice....Diesel Dan:up:

i had starter problems so i installed a1.8 optima and every things working great now.

If your ride is a left side drive Wild Steed Worx carries a kick ass starter.
Its a 1.8 that's been tweaked to produce the same torque as a 2, this unit cranks with a standard 300cca battery, and the clutch and intermediate shaft are made of titanium. At 225 and free shipping in the continental US its a great deal.

ya might want to check out The Odessey PC680 MJT is small and works well. when i had my Last bike it was in it when i bought it and later went to a Odessey PC925MJT. but the pc680mjt works well and is small.
it is nice to have enough CCA

Try or look at a Lightning Battery 450 cca I had a odessey for about a year and gave it away and the Lightning is about $120.00 delivered to your door I have a post in here about them everyone who tried them said they had great luck also. I have a spike starter if I was hunting a starter today I would go with the guys in this post who rebuild them sounds like the way to go. My spike got a bit of moisture in ot when was two days old I had to clean the solonid because it was not sealed very well good luck & Ride Safe
