New pulley for my chopper

After putting up with the belt squeal and trying all kinds of cures I found this rear pulley on Ebay. The design doesn't match my wheel 100% but you can barley see it when it's installed. At $79 shipped it's a lot cheaper than anything else and it's a little wider than the stock one (1.7 compared with 1.5) so hopefully no belt noise. It has a 2.5 inch hub bore to fit BD and comes with a spacer to fit a Harley too.

It's a Performance Machine 65T Monaco Pulley for HD 0065MONR sold by hdpartstrader1 on Ebay.

Is the pic is deceiving? It looks rather big!
It's 11 3/4 " 65 tooth same as on my bike. I would also suggest getting a new set of bolts as the org ones are red locktite in and may not look good after taking out. I don't know if this will work on a 2005 up but if it will it's a good deal. Very well made and heavy.

I saw this on Ebay but it says 1 1/8 belt so it won't fit my bike a 1 1/2 inch. I suspect it is for an early BD so be careful if you buy on Ebay so you don't get the wrong part.

Big Dog Scythe Rear Drive Pulley Polished 1 1 8" Belt Teflon Lined | eBay
Don't know what size a 2004 Chopper uses, but I do know that my 2006 Mastiff uses a 1 1/8 final drive pulley and 1 1/8th belt. I believe 2005 and up use a 1 1/8th.

If the original pulley on your chopper is a 1 1/2 and you are going to use a wider pulley you may not solve the belt sequel issue as the belt will ride dipper into pulley with no side to side support to keep is straight. Just a brain fart, but I would stick to the original size if I was you or get a belt the same size rear pulley.
