Approx what do these paint jobs run for all tins and battery cover?

Also, can/do you paint the air filter chrome cover to match the tins?

The initial quote for this job was $2500. We did end up going further than originally planned, with pinstriping and clear-coating again. Which bumped the fee up to $2800. And $80 of that was just in another quart of clear and activator.
As far as the chrome air filter cover, that must be sand blasted to remove the chrome. Are these metal or plastic? I can't remember. If they ARE metal, this should be pretty straight forward. If they are electro-plated plastic, then that will be a problem. Might have to find a cool aftermarket one made of metal, then go from there.

question ed....cant the plastic be cleaned, sanded, then bull dog adheason promoter applied, then primed and painted as usual?? i have done lots of plastics this way. i am asking because i wonder if it is a different type of plastic. i have done fiberglass fairings to golfcars and bumpers this way with good results. also automotive dashes. thanks for your time, and posting of some of the best airbrushing i have seen in a long time!!!

Thanx for the props Chuck!
I have used adheision promoters like that before, but I don't trust 'em! And therefore, I will not warrenty parts painted in this way. If this works for you, that's great! But I have not had as good a luck with this as you have! It always seems to be the simple s$$t that comes back to bite you in the a$$. That's been my experience anyway.

I for one have had work done by ED, and can only tell you that this Guy is the real thing. I had my rear fender repaired. The fender had two dents on it and I tried to fix it myself by sanding on it and re-clearing it. All I dd was fuck it up worse, :bang::bang: so I sent it to ED and WOW  he fixed the dent, had to redo the Graphics, Gold Leaf, match the base color paint and Clear it. The fender looks like New Again, even the swirl marks made by the seat cups are gone, Great Job

I was going to get together with Ed on my return trip from Sturgis, but weather fucked that up and I continued on home. Ed I will call you for a quote on the Wife's Bike once I get all the Base work done, Thanks for the Great Job

This is the before Pic, you can see where he has already repaired the two dents and then had to redo the part of the Skull and other Graphic.

Here is the finished product. The glare you seen in the skull eyes is off the Sissy Bar

Thanks for all the kind words guys! And thanks again Carlos for being so patient with me! Sometimes it's the easy straight-forward jobs that give you the biggest headaches. And this was one of them!
I'm glad everything turned out. Hope you had a good time at Sturgis!
