Hey scoot - thanks fo rthe posts. Sounds great - Are these 2 piece pipes - at least the part # you bought i.e. for a 300 tire Mastiff/K9? Like what I see and hear now T.Byrd has me thinking....

They are a two piece pipe and they leaked where you put them together. They only give you a hose clamp to put them together with but we bought a motorcycle pipe clamp and could still not get them to quite leaking. They runt my sons forward controls on the right side where they leaked. PM BYRDDOGG he'll tell you more about them.

The Hooker Troublemakers I installed are one piece. I had a Harley Night Rod Special that had the leaking problem you described. I bought a new figure 8 clamp and tightened the crap out of it and they finally stopped leaking.

Did what you suggested - called in my order (only with Tech Support - cust service did not want to take any orders). Got the Darkside (scallop cut) $ 195 a piece - two sets of pipes $ 430 (including shipping) - Thanks Again.

Scoot - What Jets are you running with those pipes?

I bought a set for my 2002 Mastiff. I had to make my own lower bracket because they fit wide tire or right side drive bikes and mine is left side drive. They look and sound great with or without baffles. Bike is much smoother at lower rpm's.

SKOOTER58 and/or toomanybikes, did you have to adjust the rear peg with this install? I'm still under the weather and haven't installed mine yet but would like to know what, if any adjustments had to be made. Thanks
