New Pipes on the way

I put torque cones in my Samson Bone shakers, and Grumpys pipes, but both are very short. Without the cones I couldn't get the jetting right, lots of popping and shit. As for HP/TQ I have no idea, never really worried about that. The Martin Bros shouldn't need them, they are long and stepped. If you do use torque cones, make sure you get flat gaskets. Otherwise use the stock cupped gaskets.

Oh yeah the gaskets! I was left scratching my head when I was looking at a tapered gasket, but my pipes were flat. So what did I do, Called up the good ol' boys @ martin bros. & J.W. said no worries man just put the tapered end towards the head, and the flat side out. Surprise surprise it sealed up like a champ! Can't say enough about those guys over at there. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow of these home made brackets. Pipes sound great, no poping, bike revs up and down a whole lot faster. Have not yet re-jetted the carbs yet, need to read the plugs to see which way to go. I may be good already.
