New paint scheme

Energy One
Still anxiously waiting for my bike to get back from paint, I decided to powdercoat the frame gloss black. I am going with a black bike with a black and silver American flag. Deciding either to powder coat the cylinders/heads black with a diamond cut or just polish with a diamond cut...

Nortons custom paint in San Marcos is doing the paint....

I would definitely do the black powder coat with the diamond cut. That looks sharp and the black would really make the diamond cut fins pop. Especially with the black paint on the bike. While your at it send out the K&P filter with it (if you have one).

And the beauty of it Paul the black powder coat is a breeze to keep looking great, a little wipe with some pigspit on a rag around a paint stir stick and the thing looks brand new. NO POLISHING! Can't wait to see some pics of yours. :2thumbs:

Naw not air filter man, K&P diamond cut black powdercoated oil filter, maddog don can hook you up. I got one on mine and it is the perfect match for the jugs.

Though D&M does make a badass match for black and diamond. Got that on mine too!

The biggest thing is not having to polish the engine... especially when you have OCD as bad as I do...

Cylinders and heads are getting powder coated gloss black the off for diamond cut. Any issues with cooling with the powdercoat?
