Hope it all works out for you and in time to get some riding in.
Who is doing the rebuild for you? Reading the post I think "Mobsta's" suggestion of having S&S sounds good - then again that's me. I would imagine the turn around time is quick, they should have all required parts and may offer you a discount all considered. Either way good luck and do keep us posted.

I have been waiting for the TC engine from my SG to be rebuilt from S&S for over five weeks now (not including the week shipping).

I think they are doing one step a day to my engine. :rant::bang::loony::job:

I really would like my bike back in my lifetime. It got so bad I ended up buying another bike to ride since I am not sure the new engine will hold up, either.

Send the motor to S&S or a good engine rebuilder. I don't know the dealer you are dealing with but sounds a litte fishy to me. John Sachs a member of this forum has a race shop down in FL. I trust him and would send my motor to him. There is also another shop close to me here in Americus GA, Star Racing, they do very good work also. Anyway I would go for the rebuild just use a reputable rebuilder. Good Luck!
