new mirrors?

i'm thinking of purchasing the 3 skull billet mirrors from j&p cycles. does anyone have any feedback on these or j&p cycle? and do i need the adapters? i appreciate all feedback

I think you will need the adapters for any mirrors other than the BDM versions

you need the adapters....i have never seen j p mirrors. i have wicked image
and they look and work like new. chrome is excellent

Sorry ... we took that down when prices were changing and we couldn't keep up with them. You can see the Wicked Image stuff at Wicked Image - Aftermarket wheel mirrors linkages for Harley Davidsons though :up:

Rutro are you referring to the Wicked Image pricing ? That's not my business. (just a good fit for this Evil/Wicked Bastard biker:2thumbs: )

Wicked Image has been around a long time and makes high end mirrors for the custom bike side. Guess its kinda like "get what ya paid for". They're also doing special linkage orders for our Big Dogs. They're a good vendor.

check out these mirrors at Debrix Cycles- Parts for your Harley & Custom Motorcycles There awesome, that's what I bought for my bike, plus had to get the adapters from a bigdog dealer. they have round or square adapters for different mirrors bases(mine are square)

Are these what you are looking for?

I have these except I have the diamond mirrors instead of the teardrop.

You can get them all day long on ebay from Debrix.

Very Good quality for the money in my opinion.

thanks alot yeah they are the ones. i dont have flames on my bike so i think im going to stick with the skulls for now. maybe the spike billets as well. how are these mirrors. do they shake loose? how long have you had them?

I have had a difficult time with my latest order from Debrix.

I ordered mirrors May 12th, they shipped the wrong ones on 5/20/08 (lower quality) ...

Took 2 weeks and several e-mails to get the RMA #, and I returned them upon reciept ...

Recieved damaged mirrors(appeared to be damaged prior to shipping) on 6/19/08 ...

After several e-mails, I recieved another RMA #, and returned the mirrors on 7/1/08 ...

Still waiting for the correct - undamaged mirrors.

They will not give you any other way to contact them other than through e-mail.

It sounds like Cutter is the Murphys Law Guy for these mirrors. If it can go wrong, it will. Hope they get his stuff figured out.

I used ebay when I got mine. The were $76 on their web site and I won them on auction for $56.

As far as vibration on them, I used a little lock-tite on them at the time of install. Have not been a problem yet.

I bought my mirrors from Debrix also....haven't had a problem yet....
I have over 1000 miles on them now....all I did was take the mirror apart and put loc-tite on all the bolts....then put it on the bike....so far so good:up:

yeppers....I bought my adapters from Nelson....:up: but you will need the same length bolts as in the adapters...but in the same thread size that comes with the mirrors....the mirror bolts are shorter.....Gas Man hooked me up with some stainless bolts...
