Can you see anything out of them when you are riding? I'm thinking about just getting rid of my mirrors if I can't find a set that are functional.

Thanks for the compliments .Pretty sad lookin at that picture you can see how filthy my bike is.It gets dirtier sitting there than riding it I think:lol:.

CHOPED, I havent even rode the darn thing since I put them on, but just sitting on it and adjusting them I could tell right away the oem mirrors were more functional and even they arent all that great.

The new mirrors look great.....

I put Arlen Ness mirrors on mine at the end of the year, and I actually see better then with the OEM ones from BigDog.

Less vibration......

I have the same ones on mine.. They do require a re-tighten at the mirror end every once and a while..

I assume any time new mirrors are installed the Big Dog mirror adapter has to be used?? Is there any alternative to the BD ones? Alot of mirrors have the square stems and have to match up to the round adapters. Not sure I like that idea.

Hey N8Kam,
I've been lucky so far. I ended up using the posts from the BigDog mirrors, and then loctite. Went the last two months of the season without having to retighten. The Bigdog mirrors loosened up every time I hit the gas hard. These were much better.

I really like the arlen Ness mirrors, if you get a chance N8Kam, post a few photos or your Dog with the mirrors...

Hey the band I'm in is playing at Laconia Bike week this year. Opening weekend at the big stage, and at Meredith Harley on the closing Sunday...... Hope to see you this year. If your there, come say hi......

There was a previous post on the mirror adapters and I believe that "Wicked image" has started production of square mirror adapters. I also believe they were under $10.
