image.png As the title states, looking to purchase a used, (currently looking at an 06') pitbull. Found one in California , original owner, (it's possible he may be a member here, or some may know the bike)...black/chrome, ss117,baker, low mileage (4900ish) that looks great. After having spoken with several custom shop owners, and doing done research here in the forums, I've pumped the brakes a bit. It seems highly likely that the bike will need to have the ehc replaced. Seems a common theme here. What other problems are to be expected ?(Some were persuasive toward me not purchasing a big dog due to issues citing electrical, suspension, motor wear, reliability problems...) I really appreciate the asthetic and performance these machines offer, but don't want to inherit a headache. This would be my first chopper/cruiser, though I have owned/ridden Kawasaki and Yamaha sport bikes for many years. Firstly, I want to get an inspection/evaluation done on the bike, as I would be conceivably buying it (less videos) sight unseen. (I am located in N.Y.) Secondly, I'm thinking it would be wise to consider the ehc replacement costs as part of my offering. Thirdly, since it is a tough question, what is the bike worth? I know these bikes went for 27k ish new, but it seems the market is so volatile ...I've seen prices on this year/make/model from 8-14k? Input greatly appreciated, thank you for your time. -Rob D.

I bought my first from Texas. I'm from Ohio. Transaction went very well. Just ask a bunch of questions ....check the seller out, as much as you can. Heck maybe some member here could check it out for you. Good Luck!

Hello and welcome. It would be smart to have it checked out by someone even if you have to pay extra to have it done. If its close to Curtis at Wild Steed Worx thats who I would go with. Good Luck.

The bike is located in Morgan hill, CA, if that is close by, I'd be happy to pay for his expertise

Welcome aboard Rob, from Tennessee. Take some time, do your homework and find the right Dog for you! You will never regret the purchase. These bikes take some of your time and patience but they are worth the effort. The smile on your face every time you look at it and when you ride it is a great deal at twice the price. :chopper:

I know where an 07 pit bull with less than 1500 original miles in excellent condition is sitting in a garage and probably only 200 miles away from you, and for sale. Email me if interested.

Bought my 06 Mastiff new, ride in the rain about half the time, no issues and best bike purchase yet.
That orange pit looks great, but they all look great. No worries, get it, ride it, maintain it, and the smile will never go away. Nothing like riding a bad ass big dog.

Go for it Brother :chopper::chopper:

We happen to have an 06 Pitbull here for sale.
In immaculate condition, already has the electrical done although it still needs a charging system upgrade.
Customer isn't giving it away though he wants 14,900 for it.
I know it's allot for an 06 Pitbull. Please keep the snide remarks to a minimum as it's not mine to make the decision on.....lol.
I'll get a picture up later.

Super rare-Hard to find these Pitbull Motorcycle company Choppers.

If you have seen one of these in person you know the quality and craftsmanship is above and beyond anything else.

Has been babied and garaged since brand New in 2008. Minimal to Negligable signs of wear. All Synthetic Fluids in Engine and Transmission. 100% Mechanically Sound with a Hardtail Frame that directs the Powertrain Strait to the ground!!! There is No Loss of Power as there is in "Those Softail Frames that My Grandma Rides"!!! Everything that is BLACK is Powder Coated Professionally Gloss Black NOT PAINTED!!!

This motorcycle needs nothing. Always used synthetic oil, NGK plugs, it starts perfect and runs like a sport bike. It rides amazingly well due to its length and I can promise you that you will not see anything on the road even close to this motorcycle. Call or text for more information 8six5-3eight5-12six5.

NO TEST RIDES but you are more than welcome to come and have me fire it up for you. I am in no hurry at all to sell as I love this bike however my scoliosis wont allow me to ride as much as I use to..

I would be willing to talk trade or partial trades for a 50's- 70's hot rod (car or truck) as well.. No boats or other bikes as I have more than what I need.

No tire kickers and I don't need assistance in selling this

That's pitbull motorcycle company, the guys that apparently ripped off a bunch of customers for their build deposits.
