New long front end on my k-9

Here's what I want to do?
I wish to replace my fork tubes with 16" overs, I want to keep the factory trees and add 3 more degrees with offset bearing cups. Can anyone comment on this?

Will any 41mm tubes fit with the BD lower legs/sliders? and where would you recommend I buy them. I am an old skool chopper guy and think my 2007 K-9 will just look different and cool with a long front end.

14" over will be the sweet spot. 16" over might set you noticeably high in the front, and I think would further "de-rake" the bike, on top of the loss from the raked trees. Might make the handling nervous but do a trail calculation. Search the site for "rake and trail" but as a general rule of thumb you wanna keep those bottom rails level.
