New k9 Shocks

I just had the shocks on my K9 replaced by Wild Steed Worx. The stock shocks were bottoming out on our crappy San Diego roads. Curtis at WSW informed me about the V-factor narrow body shocks they carry. While the shocks are setup for Harley FX style bikes WSW is adjusting the damping and preload to work well with Big Dogs. They have a medium version and a heavy duty version. I chose the medium version which Curtis adjusted to better work with my 210 pound frame. These good ooking chrome plated shocks too, even though you can't really see them under the bike. Glad I had them installed. Bike ides so much nicer now and no more bottoming out.

So.... I’m about 170, the wife is about 130... she rides almost everywhere with me except back and forth to work... I have been thinking about this for a while, we just find a happy median to adjust shocks at? Lol... n e ways, they look good and I’m sure u got the stand up service from Curtis!!

I started using Curtis's expert service years ago when he was about 7 miles from my house. Sometime back, he moved up to Valley Center, and now it's and 80 mile round-trip ride, but well worth it if you own a Big Dog. We all want to maintain and service our bikes correctly. With that said, and that the risk of sounding like a commercial, personally, I don't think there's anybody in Southern California, better equipped, or with more knowledge about servicing the Big Dog motorcycles than Curtis!

Well he is about 2000 miles from me but he always helps me out if I have a question. Those shocks look great and so does that K9.

Got a message: ”are you fucking serious”. I answered: I kind of meant most often you get what you pay for and tried to say it in most politically correct way I could.
I still hope those are good shocks and I’m curious to hear how they work.

You hit the nail in the head. Where to get pair of good regular shocks. Air ride has it’s own problems.
