Bought my bike with 5k miles on it and the shine on the front of the engine was pretty bad...the aluminum fins were loaded with scale. Today I wet sanded the fins with a little wd40 using these wet sanding pads STEWMAC.COM : Micro-Mesh Soft Touch Finishing Pads After I finished the wet sanding, I polished with mothers billet polish. Looks new again!
