I'm not really sure where to list this, and I know it not the first time around for it, but. Where can a guy find a descent horn for my K9? There's not a lot of room where it is and from what I can find, not many are any better. The stock one sounds like sh_t. Any locations ideas would be helpful also. :bang:

Kidding aside ... looks like there's a ton out there bud. I'm trying to see if I can get decibel rating and pictures. If anyone has a recommendation, I can see what the price is for you.

You can loosen the nut on the backside of the horn a bit. It should change the tone a bit.

Now that's a good one Nelson:job:
Mounts to bars?
Kidding aside-finding one doesn't seem to be a problem-but one that doesn't sound like it just came off a kids scooter, now that's a problem. No one gives sounds to check what it sounds like.

I have been running an identical horn to this one in the JC Whitney catalog only mine was made by Sibel and I am really happy with it. Mine is not chrome however like this one but cost the same. The sound is really loud and much deeper in tone than the stock BD squeeky horn. If you search our other Bd forum for "horn" you will see several posts on it and my response to a wiring question. Mine has performed flawlessly for 2 riding seasons without issue. You will need an electric relay (the Sibel came with it) to switch the low BD voltage to 12v to the horn so if you buy one look to see that it inludes the relay.

I've seen those, and have given serious thought. Just can't seem to figure out a descent place to mount it. I know there has to be some-just can't seem to find one I like.:bang: :spank:

I bought the Stebel for my 07 Mastiff but returned it... Couldn't find a spot to mount it in next to the battery box and didn't want it exposed. Would love to find something like it that was more compact.

I see that horn is a bit smaller. Its pretty freekin tight quarters in there though. I am pretty sure I wouldn't get them both mounted, maybe one.

Howard's Horns

Another country heard from if you like this kind of thing... I have no history with these guys, but Harley bud says that they're good stuff.

Advertised at 130db, includes relay, and the web page talks about Evol mounting as welll as Twinkies.
