new guy with another stupid question

i want some kind of cone-spike intake, but the problem is, everyone around here wants $1000 for one. it it me? or is that a little steep? ive seen them on ebay for $200+shipping, but im not sure what that includes and im not sure what im going to need. cone, filter, elbow, bracket, bolts, etc. id appreciate any opinions or knowledge anyone can spare. thanks.

Search here. Chihuahuadog just posted a thread on the S&S dual cone for less than $500 and several members ordered them.

Saw that Ray, its a great buy k9Rider your better of performance wise with the dual than the spike, if you want "BLING" the spike is the way to go, Demon Cycles outa FL. has them cheap, I bought some mirrors from them and was very happy with the quality and the service

Just don't go Spike. They are junk! Will make you loose power.
