Nice!! A bit over what I would use for comfort on the Ultra... but look great.

i'm looking forward to seeing what you are doing to your SG. Seems like you are really going to put some effort into it.

thay are really more comfortable than you think, rubber grips make my hands sweat, so I find all metal work out better, gas I've put alot in that bike so far, had it 3 weeks today & got over 3k in it after I bought it, just about got it dialed in now. might look for some wheels @ one of the bike rallys, now thinking of doing the big bore kit, & pipes, only got slipons on there now, this is one reason I hated to buy a new bike, I have to start over, damm drain on the pocket..

Just saw the american thunder episode. V&H had one of their SG's and they did the 103 kit with their pipes and fuel pack. Suppositly a good increase. DUH right, when you add 7CI to the motor.

I've talked to my HD shop thay have done many, after doing the kit thay ran it on the dyno 105 hp 115 ft lbs torque, I saw the #s not bad for a bagger,, I'm looking into it, still reliable, & covered by the warrenty, cost about 3k

I am not sure how to say thins, so here goes......

A lot of people build hot 103's and then are not happy with them.

Yes, they make HP, but your really need torque on a touring bike.

Most of the kits that HD sells are high reving HP kits, I know, I had the 113" kit.

I thought it was a real street killer until I built a torque motor. Shit! It is hard to wipe the smile off your face when you come out of a corner, power out and never needed to shift to get moving.

Yes, I do have a 117" and that is bigger than most people go with a big bore, but let me tell you. Once you ride a torque bike you will not want a HP bike.

Make sure you know a good tuner if you go off the normal offerings, though.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
