I'd prolly destroy my paint trying to put it on. Also would work nice as a weapon if held at gunpoint while gassing up. :up:

Thanks everyone. No it doesn't work with bdm paint saver you have to get one from them and it is from westbury choppers. Alittle more then what I wanted to spend but the cnc work on this cap is crazy.

:cheers::cheers:

Saw that before... hmmmm

Trust me... have the paint saver they give powdered to match your paint... otherwise the ring being chromed will take away from the star.

Maybe I can show ya... hmmm

bobby, make sure you use a lot of epoxy/weld (JB Weld) or whatever to make that westbury adapter stay put.

I used it for my custom Covingtons Cycle gascap and it's now laying somewhere along I-5!! :eek:

It looked nice while I had it though. :D

Is that a spin on cap or does the original female portion in the tank need to be replaced and if so is that what was said to be powder coated & well epoxied ??

Beautiful and thanks for sharing, but I just have a hard time paying $175 for a gas cap! (Ya I know, I,m a cheap bastard and go more for utility. I think my whole tank with flush chrome pop up cap was less money than that).
