Hello to all,

it was very difficult to dessemble the old gas cap, because a very hard dry adhesive.
I take a little cutter and need 6 hours - a good piece of craftsmanship.
The result you can see on the pictures, all's well that Ends well.
The paint saver Looks good - thank you Mr. Wright!

Man, I'm having my buddy re-paint my wife's new Mastiff in a few months. Maybe I should rip off the old paint saver before he does as I'm sure it'll ruin the paint after.

What parts did you need for the new cap? I've looked at some and can't figure out which parts actually fit. Do you mine posting the links or part numbers? Thanks!

you need:

- flush mount vented gas cap, part number Küryakyn 8309 (with 1 key)
- more keys extra part number 8311
- Special Silicon RTV
- paint saver (stainless steel polish) from Mr. Wright (Shannon)
