New fork slider...or new forks?

I have to replace my right fork slider body (brake caliper mount issue...long story). I found a full set of forks for $400, brand new. I may jump on that but figured I'd ask what other options you all might think of? I wouldn't mind different/better forks but wouldn't want to have to replace the whole front end. Any bolt on options other than stock? 2005 Pitbull....

Plenty of bolt-on options out there. Ultima makes a few front ends that will bolt right up. Any setup with softail style forks will work. Go to 5 degree trees and add 2" to the length. Demons Cycle sells a ton of front ends that will fit. I've heard all kinds of bad things about them, but I've bought plenty from them over the years and no issues, including a few front ends.
