Replaced one on a friends bike. It’s essentially plug and play

I have an EFI bagger. I think D O C's is the best choice for EFI, and the RIP kit or Axel's are additional good options for carb models.
When last I messed with any of this (Feb. '18), Dead's EHC was the only one that was pretty much seamless for the EFI models. The rest of the aftermarket has issues like the low fuel light glowing all the time, etc. Mine is pretty much perfect except for my kill switch is mostly irrelevant now.
Again, my understanding is that any of them work well with the carb bikes.
