new dyno numbers!!

I was recently searching engine build post and noticed everyone seems to have Alot of horsepower and torque outta their motors. I know my numbers don't seem all that great in comparison to others, but it feels really aggressive. It literally wants to pull, and feels soo torquey. I literally had to get adjusted to the difference in aggressive power. I can only imagine what others feel on their builds . I guess dyno numbers don't mean everything.

HOLY TORQUE BATMAN!

That torque curve looks like a turbo motor, it ramps up to almost MAX and stays flat all the way up to redline. That thing is a torque monster. I'll bet you keep getting bugs in your teeth cause you can't stop smiling while riding it.

It's been awhile since I posted anything or visited until recently, so I thought some pics to match the dyno would help.

So, what motor work did you have done? Noticed you have a TP set-up, just curious!

I had the jugs cut to zero deck, had a woods w6hf cam put in, and woods springs, bronze valve guides put in, didn't do any porting or polishing or big valves. So compression is at 10.5.1

I was actually thinking about getting head work done this winter...big valves, port and polishing, but don't know if that'll make my power band right side biased or just improve on my low to midrange? Before I bother my tuner I would like to hear you guys input on that. My motor runs really good now, but just curious about what headwork would do.

Head work, and optimizing the compression for the combination would be like overdosing on Viagra...:whoop: Power and torque will improve down low as well as upstairs.

Thanks Franco, thanks John. I decided to just keep her like she is. Truthfully I can put the money in more cosmetics like air ride, getting the rear fender cut like the aih lsc's, wheels chromed etc. Honestly she rides hella good now, super responsive, and sounds like a drag car. I kinda got caught up in the whole dyno number thing...smh that don't mean shit. My torque curve gets shit done like now. Thanks for all your time and personal advice everyone.

Okay got my new and old dyno numbers. My bike is an 06 k9, it had 88 hp, 107 torque :-( not very good huh? So they put bronze valve guides in a woods w6hf cam, woods springs, didn't port heads or put bigger valves in, just cleaned up the ports and stuff, cut jugs, zero deck compression is right at 10.5.1. New dyno numbers are 115 hp 127 torque. They also said they didn't need to change the ignition module. I'll see them later and ask why.
SOUNDS GREAT BUT IS 88 HORSE NORMAL FOR A STOCK 117 CI
