Had a pair of these Pingel's rip out before and dump my wife's HD, had to break hard and the bottom lock in lug snapped clean off. Yes I use a rear hold back strap! I moved to bike pro brand and have been VERY happy ever since! And yes the base plate is hard bolted in place and the roll in chock is held in place by 2- 3/4" bolts. Takes 3 min to remove one!

Also you have the option of 4 skinny pads you will need to bolt in for our narrow front tires. I have a 24' 4 bike trailer and a two bike trailer in black identical to yours. In the 4 bike I have yes 4 plates hard mounted and two in the other trailer and 4 Bike Pro chicks I can swap out between the two trailers. This chock will also hold the bike up right while you wratchet it down!

Nice looking trailer, BUT.... what the heck is wrong with riding it there? I thought trailers was for racing or show bikes, not a Big Dog that rides better than a Caddy????

The other half likes the truck better for long rides, so, happy wife........
Ha ha.....welcome to my world! We trailer to Sturgis every other yr. it's a 2300 1 way kind of trip. My wife had neck surgery and had a cadaver disk pit in between C2 & c3 then they added a plate. So any day I run over 300 miles is hard on her even on the HD Ultra classic. She's good for 200-250. So we trailer on long trips now in the RV, and pull the bikes so no more hotel rooms! But if it's just me, I'll run 600-800 miles a day and sleep under a tree.

Scott have you put any chocks in yet? I put a flush mount in my trailer. So it's always ready for a bike. Or I can fold it down and I ccan put anything in it.

Gonna go with condors, still waiting for the ok from the better half. Two condors 1500's with three mounts.
