I had the guy at the DMV wanting further documentation (service records) when I bought my slammer, he didn't believe it had 54 miles on it cause it was four years old, from date of manufacture. They ended up calling the original owner to get info from before issuing my title.

That sounds Canadian.

I've seen the people that work at the DMV here and dealt with them...I don't think they are paid enough to care. Lol

Yep sounds like them too...

First time I went to the DMV here in TX I was blown away. Actually they didn't even have a number system just stand in line. Thought I went in a time warp. They finally juat started accepting cards in the last few years prior to that was cash or check only...lol

When I registerd my -03 in Naples, I called them and asked where sould I go. They told I don't need to bother, they said they send a deputy to my house to do it.
I wanted to ride, so I went to office. Short line. The girl behind the counter was very nice and was sorry there was no officers around, then she said she might as well come and see my bike and do it herself. She checked the VIN, did the papers and and asked if I have a pillion to take her for a ride and coffee... can't complain really, except I didn't have a pillion or rear pegs.
