New Bike Power Module underway

All right folks I have gone ahead and taken the first steps towards developing a new module.
What I would like from everyone is input on what types of functions you as the end user would like to see in it.
For example:
Would you like to see multiple levels available
A completely base unit that does nothing but run the basics on the bike
A 2nd tier unit that would have the functions of the Base unit as well as the ability to run accessory lighting
A 3rd tier unit that would have Base and 2nd tier functionality as well as the ability to manage a music source and outputs for speakers or a headset

I think you get where I am going with this.
Here's your chance folks to get in on the ground level of how something gets built for you.

:2thumbs:That's what I'm talking about.:2thumbs:

2nd tier sounds good. Even if I ever do get the PDM I'll buy one from you Capt.

Thanks Ad
Ive done some extensive investigating of the BD EHC module.
While I don't know everything about their EHC and why they did things the way they did I do understand many of the things they did wrong and that I don't want to do those same things.
I have a specific manufacturer selected for the control side of the module and have begun working with their work bench design software.

You answered your own question, all you have to do is make an EHC that's reliable!!! No point in reinventing the wheel.... :2thumbs:

Best of luck with this Curtis!!!

PS And if you need a beta tester.... :)

First priority - Plug-N-Play basic functions.
Hopefully for us 2004 and/or earlier folks.
Tier 2 might be nice to add a cell phone charger or other small draw item.

Great work Kap'n!

I'd say 1st tier. Plus a jumper harness to make it plug and play for those that have already gone with wireplus, and don't want to have to change connectors again if the wireplus unit ever failed.
