Hello I am new to owning a Big Dog and just recently purchased a Pitbull rolling chassis on the old fleabay. I may be crazy for takleing this project but the Pitbull has always been a dream bike of mine. I have built other types of bikes in the past but this will be the most complicated one yet. Luckily I found big dog biker and a wealth of knowledge from the members that should make this experience a little easier. Anyway just wanted to say hello and if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Dont fret my friend . You came to the right place .
I practically built my bike from this site . Please do a search in the general forum .
HOME DOG ALIVE AND BARKING . If that dosent inspire you nothing will .
I give you credit for doing it yourself . Riding a custom bike that you built entirely by yourself is very satisfing - your frame ,motor & tranny choice , rims , paint ect . .
Man I'm getting siked for you . Please if I can be of any assistance don't hestiate to send me a PM , Also I'm sure many other members will be able to help you out any way we can . Let us know your plans ... progress .... CONGRADULATIONS .
This is going to be a great post/read .

Hell all you need is a little paint and that 124CI motor and you will be rolling (real fast) soon. Good luck on the build, keep us updated,

you might want to change up those handlebars to a standard size Harley so you will be able to use a more readily available control and not be limited by BDM proprietary BS. the sooner you get rid of the proprietary, the fewer headaches you will have.
