I live near the BDM factory, was in the show room yesterday, 7 of the baggers on display, different paint on all, some with flames some not, gorgeous bikes, real comfortable to sit on, floor boards are well done, and look good, take a littel getting used to, I asked to roll one out for a test ride, "err it will take abit to get it ready", next time

New Bagger already at Big Dog Sacramento. I saw it on Tuesday this week. Asking 42k
I'm interested in them, but that price is pretty darn steep. The only way I could justify it would be that it's ONE bike - a blend of the best of both worlds (custom & touring) - versus having two bikes in the garage (custom & touring). If you can afford to have two (or more) bikes, great....I can't. :zzdisappointed:

Still, that's a LOT of money to tie up in ONE bike! I wonder if it will hold its value any better than the rest of the line-up and what the resale market will be? I want to read more ride reports and somehow find out if/when the X-Wedge is in its future.

I've yet to see a Bulldog Bagger, but that sucker better come standard out of the box with a complete chrome package (instrument housings, levers, wheels, etc) and a really awesome paint job for me to plop down that kind of money!!!:loony:

And how about more warranty time for an incentive, especially for the electronics on that bad dog? Victory offers 5-year warranties right now on their bikes!

I rode one at the open house event in Wichita this summer. Great bike but definitely doesn't have the power of my K9. Very smooth on the road and feels like you could ride all day and still be comfortable. I was trying to figure out what body parts I could sell to park one next to the K9. Heres a pic of the one I rode. (Silver)

A noticeable difference? Do you think the Bulldog's extra weight was the culprit, the 111ci engine or both?

None around here to test ride myself, so I have to ask!:bang:
Thanks!
