Just picked up the bandit bruiser clutch, going to install it myself. Anyone have any helpful install tips? I've heard good things about this kit.

My bike is sitting on a stand in my garage right now letting the lock tite set up. Its not a hard job. Once you get into it, you'll see how everything goes. Take your time and read the instructions, and you'll be fine. As many times as I read it and thought about it, I still dumped oil in the primary with the plug out. LMFAO

I installed the bandit clutch. Was hoping it would be easier on the pull. I installed it with two of the thicker spacers under the spring fewer than Bandit suggested for my engine upgrades. I ride easy for I've thought about going with less spacers, but thought I would get some info from you guys first.

They claim about a 50 percent reduction in pull.... What have you guys found? I know I'm a left-handed whim.....

I already had twice as easy clutch pull than my buddies 03 mastiff. I noticed it was quite a bit stiffer after this clutch install as well. I added the same amount of shims as you, I guess it is what it is. I bought this clutch for one reason, to hold all the extra horsepower, my old clutch wasn't worth a shit. So far no complaints on this clutch. Little extra vibration. You made sure to align the timing marks right?

Don't know how anyone times a clutch ha, but there is a dot on the pressure plate and a dot on the clutch hub that need to line up. More of an index mark than a timing mark
