I do not know either of you two, but I found myself reading these threads everyday looking for updates and hoping for the best. This is great news and I am happy to hear that Andrew continues to fight and get stronger. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers until you are both home safe and sound.
Same here. I actually haven't been posting on here much over the last year but I have been lurking and catching up on posts every few weeks. Ever since I read about Andy, I have been checking in much more regularly praying for an update with good news. Today I see the good some positive news that I was waiting for. You all are in my thoughts!

I wonder if Andy will ride again?

Rolls eyes and smiles!! It was a horse that kicked me, and If I can remember correctly that was one of the very first things I wanted to do, get back on the horse I rode all the time, not the one that kicked me. Actually it seems like that was something I needed to do. I would almost guarantee Mr Andrew will want to get in the saddle again too. I had to wear this I called stupid baseball helmet when I rode but it was worth it. It was about a year before they would let me ride but it was certainly something I wanted to do. I would almost expect Andrew not to remember to much about the whole accident, those things that we are just by-standers see in all the pain. God deals with those things too, while the healing process is going on. There is very possibly a lot more that God's takes care of during a healing process like Andrew is going through than the moniters at the hospital pick up on. Keep an expectant faith, expectantly believing that this is all going to work out.

Ray ( Still praying everyday for Andrew and Cindy ) Expect good things to continue happen!!! Give God all the Glory!!!

Thanks for your story Ray. I do think Andy will ride again. He loves his Big Dog. He use to say it was the most fun bike he ever owned.
Today his eyes were open and he winked at me! :)
What a thrill that was for me! His right side doesn't seem to be functioning but maybe in time.

Very good news to hear. it will get better from here on too. We hope mom and dad are doing better as well.

Thank You Lord for everyone one of the prayers and concerns You have taken care of for Andrew and Cindy. You told us in Your word that the prayer of faith could move mountains, thank You for everything You have done in the healing of Andrew and helping Cindy get through all the stuff she is dealing with during this time of trouble. We are still praying You will see them through all that lies ahead, continue healing Andrew and everything this family needs. Thank You that We can rely on You in the good times and You are always there to help us when we get into situations where we see little of no hope of a good ending. You really showed up this time for Andrew and Cindy, and we all Thank You.

In Jesus' Name,
A-men.

Was the injury to Andrew's head on the left side?
Mine was and it did take more time for everything to catch up with the other side. They told me the left side of the brain controls the right side, and the right side controls the left. Try to think about it like this. As Andrew really gets back to himself and really realizes the things that aren't co-ordinated the same from side to side ,he can work on those issues to get them caught back up. He will be able to push himself more and he will want to for his own benefit. Time and patience will work wonders with a little encouragement. Encouragement goes a long way. It is going to work out! Go back and look at the post you made in here from the time of the accident, and see how much Andrew has improved till today. There is more improvement to come as well, day by day. Expect it and count on it!

Ray , and Great news by the way! I know you are happy and mabye relieved a lot more.

Yes Ray, his injury was to the left side of his head. He had a 6 inch gash above his ear on the left side. That's interesting!
And yes, when I think back a month ago, even two weeks ago, I see now progress is really being made!
Once again, Thank you all for your prayers and support!

Yes maam, interesting. My scar is directly above my left ear too. I had a feeling it might be there on the left. Let me encourage you where in the beginning where you nor Andrew are discouraged. Certain feling from left side to right side might not ever be the same again, exactly like they were, like feeling of hot and cold, little co-ordination issues that will get better with time. What does not get better ,I promise you, Andrew will adjust and adapt , and learn to live with daily. Tomorrow will be a little better than today and so on. We/I will continue in prayer expecting progress everyday.
