Oh ya, got a little bird....There is a person working on a refab of the EHC.... And at a 150-200 price. This person has broke down the ehc and has been working on better parts inside. No wirevplus, no performance big dog wiring or complete rewire. Just take out the old ehc and put this one in! ..... Call bullshit, but im telling ya, you heard it hear first. The Shit goin to be coming out of Utah.:loony::loony::loony:

Thats good news! I've been tinkering with the same idea more for personal enjoyment than anything else. The M-unit I just did it real nice, but the parts to build a set of logic circuits with enough channels to handle the controls would be LOTS cheaper. All you need is a bunch of latching gates, straight gates and a blinker...and presto your done.

Hope this comes through!

Wow if this is the case those Rocket Scientists at BD must have really had their heads up their asses............
They spent well over a million dollars R&Ding the EHC in the BDs and still had problems with it.

Have to agree with Kaptain on this one. We will see.

Would be good though if it came through, hell even if it the same issue as the EHC, still would be cheaper.

PDM on mine and so far no issues with close to 2.5k since change out.

It's always cheaper to copy something than do start from scratch.
If they can copy it and leave out some of the unnessasary functions it might work.
Things like the blinking tack when rpms low, fashing hazards when battery is low, ect

Don't get me wrong, Im not saying they can't do it. Just seems that way after what BD went through.
But then that is the American Way:
Tell us we can't do something I dare ya""

well gents the guy that is working on it has done a review of the resistors and all the electronics…. he is saying that the electronics are as cheap as they come in stead of a .75 cent resistor they are using .06 cent. so in all actuality big dog should have spent the extra 20 bucks and got better circuitry. i am keeping up on the tabs and updates as soon as this starts rolling i will be letting the cat out of the bag the 5 W’s who when where what and we all know why?I will try to get a photo of this, it will be slightly bigger, im pretty sure the guy is just copying the system and making it by using the better electrical parts. it still isnt costing him much to produce, better for all of us.

i'm not gonna bash BDM ...i can understand if they upgraded everything the bike would have cost alot more. that is common practice in the auto industry. but from a consumer i would have wished they would have cut no corners on one of the main parts of the bike i am on my 3rd ehc, this is the most updated one they had,,,,fingers are crossed
