Dad just bought this geat K-9. No background info (used dealer). I cant find any information on the paint. Im pretty sure its factory but is it stenciled, free handed or what. Its a damn fine paint job whatever it is. This is one fine ridin machine. You cant keep me off this bike.

Oh, we know your work all to well, just thought this was one of those jobs that BDM limited your true skills on...:D

That job was done by a "kid" that had never picked up an airbrush before working at Bigdog. But somehow thought he was johnny-bad-ass with it!

Nope! And (from what I hear) he doesn't airbrush anymore, imagine that.
There's only one airbrusher left at BDM. One of 3 people left in the whole paint shop.

Wow, down to three in the paint shop. They can't be turning out too many bikes with a group of so few...

Ed I like your work but I got to say the paint on that bike looks good to me. Of course when I get around to you doing mine I don't want you slacking off because of my opinion.:D

I think that's where the experience is lacking. I didn't want to mention it, just looked kind of different how it was done.

Thanks. It actually looks really good in person. Maybe not a contest winner but this bike is going to get ridden hard and Dad gets a hella kick out of it.

That's both interesting and disturbing at the same time, they limit your creativity, yet they let someone with no exp.paint a bike………whose kid was he?
