Was looking on Cycle Trader this morning and came across two Big Dog Mastiffs. One is an 08 the other is an 07. Claims they never been sold. How can that be?

dealerships might have had them on display all these years and never titled them, just left them on the MSO (manuf. statement of origin)

Sounds like they got stuck on a shelf after they went out of business. Some of the members bout "new" old bike out of New York. Pretty sure they were the first title holders.

One of the old ones.
That’s how I bought my 2010 Bulldog Bagger in Dec. 2016. It had an original MSO and processed like any other new vehicle, except after you take title, you have a remarkably low mile used bike....mine had 29 miles on it when delivered.
The tires will need to be replaced and you have to fret about stale gasoline, etc. mine was an EFI and the fuel pump sounded kinda wonky so I rebuilt it.
I liked being able to break it in correctly, etc. It promises to be a very good bike, currently at 16K miles.
