Needing a cross ref chart for part numbers

Energy One
I have not seen a MASTER LIST, showing a cross reference for
our bike part numbers to Harley Davison.

I suggest we combin existing ones or make a new one. ONe master list

shared with all.

I"m tired of paying ridiculous prices for normal parts that i know i can get
and fit from a stand hog. ei, brake rotor or brakes even.

I need a list of parts that i need to cross reference

1) compression releases front and rear for 05 chopper model
what is part numbers and the cross number for harley?

2) break pads.

They are PM brakes, not the same as a Harley caliper. So, you need either PM pads, or another manufacturer like SBS...retail for around $38.
Compression release is S&S only and sold only in a set of 2 for around $300. Harley does not use this setup.
2005 - up model Big dogs use less "Harley" type parts than pre 2005. All seals/gaskets to primary and transmission will have to come from Baker.
Motor is S&S and can purchase from a vendor of S&S.

Not a true statement.
Wild Steed Worx carries all the primary gaskets and seals, except the inspection cover fiber gasket which is coming soon, of equal quality or better and they are not baker.
I just went and bought a sheet of the matching gasket material at NAPA and cut half a dozen inspection cover gaskets and used a punch kit to match the holes. I have one installed from my last drive train oil change and no leaks and all is good. You really don't need to buy the gasket from Baker. If you do, go through Amy at Strokers or Curtis.

The transmission main shaft seal on an '08 Mastiff is the same as a late 90's - early 2000's Harley 5 speed on FLT,FLST, FXST.

On the output/pulley side yes, along with the quad seal. But, I have done enough of these transmission rebuilds to find that the seal Baker uses is superior to that of H-D, Cometic, and James. Baker has never failed on me, but the others have.

Any thoughts as to why that may be?

The lips of the seal of the one made for Baker are much larger and the pulley spacer seems to fit a little tighter. I'll try to get some pictures of the difference and post them on here. I have a good 10 or so Cometic ones that are brand new and not gonna use. It might not be every one, but out of maybe 30 transmissions, 2 will leak. With the ones from Baker, I have not had a single one leak yet with their transmissions and others (H-D, Rivera, RoadMax, etc...)

Here are some pics of the seal from Baker, vs. the Cometic (same style that H-D and James as well)
Left side is Baker, Right is Cometic. Notice the size of the lip of the inner seals. Clearly the Baker is larger and better built = NO LEAKS.

Nuke,

Do you know what kind of gasket material you bought? I can't find the same CMP4000 - Or whatever the hell it is.

I found [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Gasket-9611-Fiber-Material/dp/B00068OLEM/ref=pd_sim_auto_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0G7YE9W1E5EQ9P1WR8BM"]Amazon.com: Mr. Gasket 9611 Fiber Gasket Material Sheet: Automotive[/ame]

Seems like it will be okay
