Thank you all.

Baffles out and drop your idle just a little
No baffles will likely change the way the bike runs and feels and you will probably have to tweak on the carb a bit

Yep this is how mine sounds just yank the baffles out! He may have a bigger cam in it to get a bigger lope to it but if you have the Vance-n-Hines 2 into 2's just removing the baffles will male it sound very similar. Just be prepared it WILL be ALOT louder and WILL get some popping on hard decal. Some say you will loose some low end performance but I do not feel like I did and even if you do it will be not enough for you to really tell unless you put it on a dyno and look at the numbers.

The baffles are easy to remove. Did it for a friend of mine last yr. 2 ways. 1st way remove pipes from bike. On bike side of pipe there is a set screw. Remove set drew. With a inside grab slide hammer, open teeth till they grab inside of baffle. Then slam slide hammer baffle will come out. There about 12-14" long. Then put pipes back on bike. Second way, the way I removed my friends. Put bike on a lift. Take a straight drimal tool and grind off set screw. This takes 10 minutes. Do this slowly so not to touch inside of pipes. Once set scew is ground off. Insert slide hammer just line above and pop it out. Marks bike is now probably 15X louder!

My K9 sounds like that Pit, I did remove the stock Baffles and installed the BCT in the V&H 2-2.

NOTE: I went with the QQ Big City Thunder

Forgot to mention it.... I do have the 585 cam, I did read here it does makes the sound more "pa-ta-to"?
