Sad day. Sold the pitbull. :loony: Tendon is torn in the clutch elbow that requires surgery at the end of this month. Probably tore the damn thing polishing the bike so much. So I will be out for a couple or few months.
(Sold the bike to a cool guy for a good price so I am happy about that.)
The elbow along with the shitty roads here (and the polishing) fueled the decision to abort the pitbull. But.........knowing firsthand the quality of BDM, I will be back. Thats where I need some feedback.
I found the '06 pitbull to be a very stiff ride through the turns. I rode my friends ridgeback and found it to handle surprisingly easier through the turns as well as be more forgiving on the rough roads. Is it me or does anyone else notice this.
I am starting to look at used bdm choppers.
There seems to be more of those up for sale at pretty low prices. How does this model compare to the others as far as the ride goes. Can you guys shed some light on this model and right vs. left side drive on this model. And are there any specific years to avoid?
