need to find a speedometer cable

I just bought a 2000 big dog pro-sport. Didn't know until after I bought it that it doesn't have a speedometer cable installed. I been searching online for the product but I can't seem to find it anywhere. If you could send me a link to where I can find one so I can install it that would be great! Thanks!

Let's start with this. You should do an intro as you're first post when joining a forum. Tell us a little about you're self and you're bike.

But since you bought a prosport I will give you a mulligan this time. I have the same bike. If you're bike has the stock speedometer that has the old style Big Dog logo in it you do not need a speedometer cable. You're speedometer is electronic. There is a magnetic pickup located on the top of the transmission. You can access it from the right hand side of the bike.make sure you get the right piece of equipment because there is also a neutral safety switch there someplace. Check the wire connections to make sure they are ok. If they are you may need to remove the pickup they are attached to and clean it. Sometimes they pick up metal shavings from the gear box. If that dosent do it remove the dash panel from between the tanks. Make sure the connections at the speedometer are good.
