you can use a rotor and stator from any late model EVO. you will just need to grind a couple tabs a little on the inside of the primary case. I installed a Spyke rotor and stator with a new 4 wire voltage regulator and it works perfect
I would do the whole package and just replace the VR too.

Do they offer that with a chrome vr? I didn't know which would be compatible.

I have a used stator that I took off my 2006 Mastiff. It was working when I took it off. The reason I took it off was because I went to an open primary years ago and I wanted to up grade to the Compu-Fire 40 Amp Charging System.
