Need some reviews on Bikers dream of Atlanta

I am seeing some oil leaking Around both front and rear rocker box covers and considered doing this repair myself, but Im concerned about F**king up a $10,000 motor. Bikers dream of atlanta is only about 2 hours away and was considering using them to fix this problem. Just curious if this company is reputable and has anyone ever had any dealings with them (good or bad). Thanks ahead for any input. An idea of cost would if you might know.Thanks!

Most on the site like Bikers Dream. I'm in the minority.

It's not a big job so it would be no problem for them to do it right but they will hit you with high retail parts & labor.

My advise to you is there no time like the present to start working on your on bike.

X 2 on doing yourself...just changed mine over from TP to S&S rockers since i had to tear down to get to an oil leak on the lower front jug base gasket. bought the S&S manual before i started. got a lot of info in it.

Thanks guys for the input. I feel pretty confident that i can do it myself. I was looking at "gasman" thread on replacing them and it looks like its in my relm of knowledge but The loosening valves and having to adjust them back is what concerns me. im still confused about this whole adjusting valves anyway because earlier in the year i was servicing it and was reading other peoples comments about valve adjusting and was considering it myself but when i called S&S tech support, he told me the valves are not adjustable and there is no need to worry with that, so WTF! Definetly need to purchase a torque wrench to do this project if i do tackle this project myself.
I am assuming I have "TP" rocker boxes because i have 4 allen bolts on top unlike the S&S with 6 allen bolts on top. Is one better than the other? It appears that alot of people are converting theirs to S&S. Everything in my motor is stock except for V&H pipes with the carb jetted for them. I am assuming I can call S&S directly and get all the parts i need to perform this task.

S&S will tell you that you may have to go through a dealer to get parts. if you go to their website and you can see the part but cant order, then you have to go to a dealer. got my parts from Bikers dream and some other places. changed mine out just cause i like the S&S look. if you loosen the push rods, you will have to adjust back, great how-to video on here for that...i followed and worked great.. take your time and you will do fine...

If you want a good S&S Authorized Dealer that's close to you, try "BPA Inc" in Calhoun Georgia.

They have a machine shop, dyno etc and they're knowledgeable & fair priced.

They've done machine work for me & ordered S&S parts etc.

Ha ha, S&S was referring to the old style adjustable push rods used in pre-Evo motors with solid lifters . You have hydraulic lifters now that still have a procedure for setting them but nothing like the old solid lifters
