My wife was on board with the whole clean,buff and polish scenario. Now she thinks I might be obsessive compulsing. Do you think I've gone too far?

Just Kidding.....I'll be starting reassembly as soon as I get new gaskets. :up:
I have a call into Nelson, but does anyone have a preferred provider for original S&S parts IE: gaskets or a connection \ source for them they would recommend?

Good job!!! I pull my bike apart prior to every run I do and been known to have it in a 1000 pieces just before ride time.
But you know what........ You won't have issues like others due to your maintanence!!!!

I have heard the term, but I am ashamed to say I have no idea what "Diamond Cut" is. Probably have seen it, but did not know that was what it was called.

I googled it and I have seen diamond cutting and it is cool, but I have not decided if it is what I want to do yet. Another great idea though! Thanks!

I bought my dog used and I think the previous owner must have lived up north and totally neglected it. It had some serious raised corrosion and dullness.
