Can anyone direct me to a good how-to for led accent light placement? I have a lizard light kit that has 8 led bars, but I am having trouble finding good places to mount the lights to get the most out of them. Installing on an 06 K-9 btw. Thanks in advance for the help.

I'd walk out to the garage and throw them right in the trash can. Or.....you could use them on the Christmas tree next year.:D

There are quite a few threads on here about those lites so if you do some searching you can find out who has them and where they put them.
You already know that most don't prefer them.
But it's your bike and you can do what you want with it.

Good luck,
Ray

Crawfish,
No flaming here but did you try a search under LED lighting?

A few pages came up when I did, you might find some useful info there.

Your taking your hazing.....you'll find either you can take it just like you would from a buddy or you just won't fit in.

I'll chime in, I love my lights, and like I've said in a previous thread, they have gotten me laid, more than once! I used electropods and 12v 5mm single LEDs, but I've installed lizard lights before. Obviously you want to get light on the chrome so it reflects back up, but you want to do your best to hide the lights themselves. Lizard lights are great because they are so flat. I'd put 2 or 4 under the tank, stick them with double sided tape or hot glue. Hot glue will not damage your paint, it just pops right off with a fingernail. Put 1 or 2 under your oil bag, shining down on your transmission. I have an LED strip down inside my open primary, shining on my motor plate. I also run one shining on the back wheel, and one shining on the front. Everything runs through a 12v switch mounted under my seat and a 1A fuse. Set them up in a dark garage and tape them in place to see how they look, then move them around as you see fit, then hide all the wires and glue/tape them in place permanently. Unfortunately this is the only pic I have with my lights on. Not that the girl is bad, but I had a shot of the whole bike and I can't find it.

my lights are installed like moespeeds. I have 4 on the bottom of the tank. two on each side and there right on top of the rocker boxes. The front one that lights up the wheel it attached to the inside of the caliper and the rear is attached to the frame shinning in. I also bought a remote for them on ebay for $10. It works great up to 50 feet.
