Need Serious Help

I am sure there is someone on here that can help me....

I have an 03' Chopper. Lost my keys this winter, and replaced my ignition with a factory BD ignition. Plugged it in, and nothing. No EHC lights, no power of any kind. Thought maybe battery, so I went and replaced the battery with a new HD battery. Put it in, turned the key, and nothing. I have a solenoid button, and when I push that the starter turns the crank, but obviously with no power, it will not fire. Anyone have any ideas what to check next? Already went through every connection I could find. All solid and no corrosion.
The only thing different is I removed the led light box that the previous owner had on it. But I wouldn't think that would do anything given that it was just two wires directly to the battery. The little black box on top of the battery with the little green and red light isn't even lighting up. Any help at all would be appreciated. VERY frustrated!!

I think that is something bdm added to the elect system for the ehc issues... put it back on.. someone will chime in that has a 03

Being that you took the Battery Off, did you hook all the wire back the way they were. Is it possible that one wire got by you and is not hooked up. I would check for that even if you have to take the covers off to look for lost wires. Just saying.

I have an 03 chop and when I changed the battery I left the little black box off and mine wouldn't fire either. don't know if that was the cause or if I had a loose connection? try putting it back on to see if it will fire.

The little black box I took off was aftermarket for an LED light system. It never even had a fuse in it. I took all the LED lights off so it was just a box with a bunch of connectors hanging off of it. The little black box that I am concerned about is the one on top of the battery with the two little lights on it. It is still on there but nothing is lighting up.

And Boo, I always count the connections to each battery terminal before I take them off. So I don't think that's it.

dont have the new switch plugged in wrong somehow,or maybe wrong switch,just sayn

No, contacted BD to make sure, and there is only one way to plug in the switch.

if the only thing you changed was the switch sounds like maybe switch,are the wires same color?maybe wrong switch or a coinkie dink that something else is wrong,check to make sure your ehc didnt come unplugged,although you checked connectorsdid you try hooking that box back up just for chits and giggles?

can you bypass the switch and see it fires up?

Mobsta, I actually tried that. Was going to just replace the ignition switch with a toggle switch. Didn't work.

Before the new switch. Had no power then also. Figured I HAD to use a proper switch.

hows the connection at the ehc,i know you checked your connections but just maybe try disconnecting it a reconnecting it if you havent already

I was actually just doing that... nothing. Does anyone know what the little black box is on top of the battery with the two little lights on it? What is it for?

It seems to me that this mysterious black box might be my issue. If I am not mistaken, it is what gives power to the EHC. Anyone? Anyone?

It is hooked up, never unhooked it. Pics on the way, but it's about the size of a pack of gum, and has a red and green lights on it. It also has four wires coming out of it. One to the EHC, one to positive terminal, one to negative terminal, and one that disappears under the oil tank.
