Need opinions - 03 Chopper vs 07+ K9

I to like my chopper, the simplicity is what i like. and the old school

I love the look of the chopper, but I do like the 300 rear. Around here any BDM is pretty rare when out riding so unless the K9 rides and handles much better just keep yours. Especially after all the work you just did.

I've never ridden any K-9 but an 06 so I am obviously clueless as to what an 07+ would be like. Nor do I want to ride anything but my 06 K-9, because to me it's the ultimate bike. That being said, I never seen a BDM chopper I didn't like looking at and everyone I've spoken to that has tried both, said the chopper is abetter ride.

I think my question is going to be answered for me. I only want black. I dont want efi. As much appeal as the K9 has, if its not a black, carb, and low miles, I would rather keep the Chopper. So I'm just going to keep riding but keep my eyes open! I bet I'm riding the Chopper for a long while!! Can't complain tho can I - they are all cool bikes!!!

I have a feeling I'll be riding the chop for a while anyway cause an extremely nice low mile solid black K9 close to me doesn't come along all the time! But I'll keep looking.

I believe two bikes are better than one. You need a backup bike at all times to be ready to go during maintenance, etc.

I hear ya man! Problem is my money tree lost all its leaves and they dont seem to be growing back fast enough! A Scarab was always my dream - but the Big Dog and my old Mach1 are about all the wallet can afford!
