Need Ignition Module 04 Chopper

Greetings

New to the forum but there appears to be a lot of good info here. I am in need of some help....

My dad picked up a 2004 BD Chopper and we have had to fix a few things. Just replaced the harness with the upgraded PDM and HCI because the previous owner made a mess with installing the WP kit. Well come to find out the ignition module is missing. Does anybody that has done any of the upgrades want to part with a working ignition module. It is the one with 2 connectors, a 3 pin and 4 pin.

Correct me if wrong but I believe only a 2004 or 2005 module will work with the new harness.

Thanks in advance.

"If you ever do want to upgrade, one of the best you can buy would be the Daytona Twin Tec ignition kit. Comes with everything you need to make it a nice single fire setup.
Daytona Twin Tec LLC - Model 1005 Ignition for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles"

Thats what I put on my 04 Chopper

Dakota is spot on if you need a new ignition than just get an aftermarket single fire setup. Will help the bike run a bit better. BDM changed to single fire in 05+ , also having the ability to adjust the timing will be beneficial.

Im guessing your old man got this bike NOT running? How does someone forgot to include an ignition module?

The Twin Tech module replaces the cam sensor and the stock ignition module. There is a little wire adaptation but beyond that it is almost Plug & PLay

It was a 6 pack install and set up. Maybe I drank too fast that day but if I remember correctly the day was warm and the beer was cold :2thumbs:

how did you wire this? I have the stock wiring still, just replacing the ignition. I have the bike running, but no Tach and bypassed the EHC.
